Marilena VLAD & Adrian SANDU "Memory and Temporality": The memory, without being one
of the central themes of the history of philosophy, has always been present in
the field of philosophical research, starting from the Greeks up to the recent modern
philosophy. Based on the proceedings of the 2005 conference held at Casa Lovinescu, Bucharest,
this volume shows the variety of the possible approaches to memory and its
hermeneutic generosity, being structured in four parts: the first two follow
a historical perspective, the constitution of this theme in the Greek
Antiquity and its interpretations in phenomenology. The last two sections are
thematically configured, approaching problems related to memory: time,
narrative, writing.
